Our Journey into Hope. PART 3. A FEW (more) GOOD MEN (and women)
While in “the days of Noah” when the earth was CORRUPT, most were carried away by the Mainstream (media) flood, we read in 1 Peter, “a few people, eight in all were saved through the water.” (1 Peter.3:20)
Now the really good news (which I will get to later) is that these eight were I believe not the final total but the first fruits, but let me add to the 4 in the last blog another 4 modern day ‘hostage loosers’ who have courageously been STANDING and SHINING for the TRUTH that sets us free!
.…….. after all as I spotted the deal above in Hy-Vee this morning, we can celebrate all the time because….”Hey, it’s St. Patrick‘s day somewhere”
President Maufuli of Tanzania’s anti corruption stance won him the admiration of many, but when he revealed a goat and pawpaw tested positive for coronavirus his skepticism of what he called a ‘scam’ made him many enemies. Otherwise healthy, this good man was said to have ‘died’ last week aged 61 years.
Nearer home the good Dr Scott Jensen who blew the whistle on the corruption of The US government’s CDC Covid reporting is running for governor of Minnesota.

A few readers have expressed concern that the blogs will ‘scare people.’
Mario Murillo has said that before there can be a Great Awakening to the hope of the gospel there must first be a Rude Awakening to the hopelessness of this world system which the bible tells us is under the power of ‘the evil one.’ The ‘denial of death’ in our culture goes hand in hand with ‘the denial of evil’.
It would become overwhelming if we focused on a world where 100 million were killed under communism in the last century or 50 million children are aborted annually or 1 million children go missing to be trafficked every year!
However the shock we experience as we discover these truths about the depths of the evil of Lucifer is a necessary prerequisite to the peace we can then find as we discover the truth about the height of the goodness and sovereignty of God.
Noah’s eight were ‘delivered’ out of one realm into another realm – a better one. Eight is the number for ‘a new beginning.’ We are privileged to live in such a time as this!
In this particular month of March, different persons all close to our hearts have also been delivered out of one realm into another – through the experience of a birth, a marriage, and a death. As ‘members one of another’ it is as if we too have entered into these experiences all of which have embodied the emotions of both sorrow and joy.
The birth was ‘premature’ because of illness. The (re)marriage was subsequent to what seemed an ‘untimely’ death due to brain cancer. The death was at the end of a long life well lived in service to God.
As I blogged before, by finding and ‘Beholding the Beauty’ in these ‘life’ experiences we are doing what we are exhorted to do in Philipians 4, thinking on the good, the noble, the lovely, the admirable the true the pure and the praiseworthy and are then able because our eyes have been opened to the mystery of the greatness of a loving heavenly Father’s gracious plan, “Rejoice in the Lord always.”….. and share the Good News!

“For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.” (Rm.14:8)
“For to me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.” (Phil.1:21)
Journey into Hope. Part 2. Would the REAL St. Patrick Please STAND UP.
During our season of “St. Brendan’s Launch” in Kieran’s Irish pub, we wrote and performed a play called “Would the REAL St. Patrick please stand up.” It was a humorous attempt to debunk the notion in the US that St Pat was all about green beer and bagels! At the end of the skit we drew the audience into joining us in a prayer for the resurrection of the true spirit of Patrick embodied in the lives of many Irish heroes of faith, sung, and unsung, over the centuries.
“ARISE and SHINE O mighty one
ARISE and SHINE your sleep is done
ARISE and SHINE your light has come.
Your light is Christ, Ireland’s true Son.”
Subsequently God opened doors for us to perform the play and lead this prayer all over the US in Australia and even back in Ireland.
What is REAL is a crucial question in this ‘VIRTUAL’ age in which we live in which deceit and corruption run deep.
I would like to continue our Journey into Hope by pointing out a few people who have struck me as ‘lights’ in this present darkness.
Let’s begin with another PATRICK!
Patrick Woods is author of “Technocracy Rising : The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation.” Just as the original St. Patrick challenged the dark druidic religion of Ireland, I sense this Patrick is another ‘saint’ who has been raised up to take a courageous STAND and SHINE light on the challenge of the new dark ‘religion’ of Scientism.
Scientism was first proposed by the French philosopher Henri De Saint-Simon (1760-1825). He wrote,
“A scientist, my dear friends, is a man who foresees; it is because science provides the means to predict that it is useful, and the scientists are superior to all other men.”
Alex Zeck has said, “ In Science questions are welcomed, alternative ideas are cherished, and concerns are explored. In Scientism questions are not welcomed, alternative ideas are banished and concerns are ignored.”
The disastrous consequences of the arrogance where man thinks he can outsmart our God given, innate immune system are now beginning to be felt and anticipated……….

A second man I have come across who is taking a courageous STAND to SHINE light on the shockingly rampant corruption in US government spending is Adam Andrzejewski (Did you know for example the government paid 1 billion dollars to dead people last year?) Adam talks about how the transparency and accountability his company, OPEN BOOKS began to bring, was welcomed, and was ushering in REAL change under the previous administration. This video is from last year. The recent $1.9 trillion spending bill displays current Swamp corruption ‘on steroids’
A third man I have come to respect as I have observed the corruption at the political level here over the years is Devin Nunes. His story of taking a courageous STAND to SHINE is told in the recently released epic documentry, “The Plot against the President.” which you can watch for free by clicking here…….
Jesus said, “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.” (Matt.24:37)
In Genesis 6 we read, “Now the earth was CORRUPT.” and that, “Noah had God’s approval and was a man of integrity among the people of his time.”
God had a way to deal with the corruption of Noah’s days. I believe the three men I have pointed to above are a sign of hope that God is also dealing with corruption in our day be it in the fields of science, government, business, media or religion.
After the last blog I received this message from a very prophetic sister in Ireland.
“Hi Paul,
You mentioning the adage, ‘March comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb’. I hope it is going to be very prophetic this year. I was teaching Biblical Hebrew on Thursday evening, mentioned ח (khet) – the final letter of נח (Noah – rest) and how Noah and his family were caused to rest in a lock-down or for them, lock-up situation. ‘How long were they in the ark?’ I asked. As I shared I calculated 13 months, I said ‘Wow’ as I realised April will be 13 months. If this is prophetic for our situation of world-wide lockdown, then at the beginning of April we all should have rested enough in the Lord to be free again. If so, let us be like Noah and be quick to worship God, giving thanks to Him.“
No matter the exact timing of how things play out in ‘the big picture’ our responsibility is to those God has set before us in the here and now. We are delighted to report that the two ‘new things’ that God has begun here in the BGH are ‘springing up‘ beautifully.
One Sunday we have a dozen young people – couples eager to find and fulfill God’s vision for their marriages, their families – and beyond! On the alternative Sunday another dozen folk gather to experience Jesus setting us free, in anticipation of his using us as ‘coaches’ at the FREEDOM! retreat in April, as he sets many others free!
These folk too are all ‘little Patricks’ – ‘hostage losers’ seeking to STAND and SHINE.
A few months ago I mentioned our being at “an inflection point” Just a few days ago I got word that a book I had been eagerly anticipating for many months had just been published by our son Ben’s father – in – law. I ordered it immediately, and knowing the man, his integrity, spirituality and literary skill, would even before my opening it, recommend you read it too! Published on March 5 (Grace), the day after MARCH FORTH, I discovered it bore this HOPE filled title!
The author’s names meaning, “Yahweh is gracious” and “Crowned with laurel” guarantee the VICTORY of our God of GRACE that is coming and is indeed already here, as like Noah we enter into the ‘rest work’ of God…. that he has foreordained, that we should each walk into! (Eph.2:10)
…..and the icing on the cake! Just this morning one of ‘the children’ from our community in Belfast who is now serving with his family as a missionary engineer in Uganda sent me this video of “Lord Jesus we enthrone You….we proclaim You are King……come and take your place”….. being sung outside his window in Africa……overlooking Lake VICTORIA
“May the God of HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Rm. 15:13)
Our Journey into Hope. Part 1. March Forth!
Our journey ‘into’ has been of necessity first a journey ‘out of’
In the middle of the night on March 4th, 2019 I went to the Upper Room of The Big Green House to ponder the email I had received that day from the Mayor of Robbinsdale.
It was clear that God had “hardened Pharoah’s heart.” Reagan, our cordial fellow Irishman, had been remarkably favorable toward us at the City Council meeting where we had presented our case and sung our song requesting we be able to continue opening our home for hospitality to those who were not ‘Kyle’ by birth. Now however, it sounded like the ‘powers’ at work in “Big Government” (OK ‘quite’ big government in ‘little’ Robbinsdale’s case : – ) had reasserted themselves – ‘the bully’ was back!
(The City subsequently insisted we immediately evict the single mom and her daughters who were living with us! I had an inspired idea! Although Shiela felt they were ready now to move on, she needed time. I called our son. “What about you Katie and Rex (the dog) and Steve the cat doing a house swap?” I asked. They were game. And so four critters moved out of the BGH and four criters moved in….. and the asinine code was complied with!)
That night, I had sat down at the “RELEASE” station in the Upper Room where we had located the second ‘Step’ we teach at the FREEDOM! retreat. Glancing to the side I noticed on the table the Lion and the Lamb, and realized the date was the only day of the year that contains a command, “MARCH FORTH.”
MARCH it is said, “Comes in like lion and goes out like a lamb.” The Lion and the Lamb both speak of Jesus our King whom we have committed to follow.
Was I prepared to RELEASE, to ‘Let go’ of this place where we had seen so many experience being set free by Jesus?
“Yes Lord. Wherever you lead, we will follow.” I answered.
We thought at the time a physical move was imminent, and yet we are still here two years later! The fuller significance of that word subsequently dawned on us……..
On the wall beside the table there is another lion……..
I realized what God has been emphasizing to us is not primarily that we should “MARCH FORTH” outwardly, but that we should “COME FORTH” inwardly. The quality he is looking for is for us to STAND with COURAGE for TRUTH and JUSTICE.
A few months later our daughter’s family of four moved in from New York and the City ‘bully’ once again surfaced, insisting we let them inspect our home! I knew this time we were to STAND. I replied that according to our 4th amendment rights the City needed to have just cause to believe we were in breech of the code, and we would only grant them permission if they stated the breech, and acquired a warrant!
That was the end of the City’s intimidation. When we stood firm in the authority we have in Christ, in the face of the evil spiritual power behind the ‘Big Government’ bully – it backed down.
I believe we are now at the time in redemption history of the fall of “Mystery Babylon” as recorded in Revelation 18. (This is well described by Dr Stephen Jones who has been given a remarkable insight into God’s “Secrets of Time” and how this is playing out in our day, in his extensive bible studies available free on line at godskingdom.org )
As we come to the end of this era, verse 4 applies now more than ever to believers.
“And I heard another voice out of Heaven, saying, “COME FORTH out of her, My people, that you may not partake with her sins, and that you may not receive of her plagues.” (Rev.18:4. LSV)
I realized that God’s primary concern is not how we are located in things, but how things are located in us.
“The wicked flee though no one pursues, but THE RIGHTEOUS ARE AS BOLD AS A LION.” (Prov.28:1)
This is the COURAGE to STAND for TRUTH and JUSTICE our Irish friend I referenced last week is displaying and that our son Robin has displayed.
Robin’s health challenges over the years have given him a passion about researching to understand what truly makes for health.
A few months ago he told us, “God asked me to not wear a mask.” He didn’t want to hear that, as by nature he is a ‘people pleaser’, but he obeyed, and even on his trip back to Boston for his ‘check-up’ he chose to drive rather than fly, and have to wear a mask. His testimony was that God’s abundant grace accompanied him as with kindness he was able to share our Father’s ‘smiling face’ and what he had learned with the open hearts God had prepared in advance.
Part of our journey into the good health Hilary and I now enjoy (which I will detail later in the series) has involved our learning about the connection between oral health and overall health. Here is another recent article about how these are negatively impacted by masks.

May Patrick’s vision for Ireland and George Washington’s for the USA of that light/fire being re-lit/kindled be fulfilled in our day.**

Our Journey into Hope. Introduction.
Dear Blog friends,
This month of March is the 5th year anniversary of my being lead to begin these blogs.
Many of you have journeyed with me from the start, and I want to take a moment to recognize our valuing of one another. You obviously value me if you are reading this and still feel after all this time I might have something worthwhile to contribute to your journey. I dearly value you, and all your comments. Knowing that a few hundred friends out there are consistently clicking on paulkyleblog.com each week confirms to me I should continue blogging what I sense the Lord gives me.
I came across a pile of birthday cards from 2007 on my 34th birthday (only joking!) The photo above is from one of the cards a blog reader and friend (who isn’t afraid to poke fun) gave me. On the inside, Al had written,
“The only thing that won’t grow is my nose! Honest faithful friends are hard to find these days!”
On another birthday card Linda had written,
“In a world of fugitives a person going in a different direction may look as if they are running away.”
How prophetic that has now proven to be 14 years later!
…….. and maybe one reason I have lost some readers while gaining a few new ones along the ‘road less travelled’! (A ‘shout out’ to a more recent Tom, whose faithful feedback has been especially encouraging!)
Another card that Hilary gave me on our anniversary now sits on the dressing table opposite our bed. It pictures how I have approached writing the blog.
I am aware that my readers have been ‘all over the map’ when it comes to their spiritual journeys and perspectives. In the light of this I have sought to take the hand of the ‘average’ reader (whatever that means : – ) and seek to responsibly balance sensitivity to different starting points and boldness in sharing about our discoveries over the years as we have sought to journey towards ‘truth’.
I am conscious that many of you are now ‘tracking with me’ for the most part. So in the series I sense I am being given for this month of March I am taking the risk to ‘up the pace’!
This was confirmed to me this morning when I got an email for an Irish reader who said she is seeking to take a loving stand for the ‘truth’ as she has come to understand it, but has been really struggling with how ‘deaf’ her circle seems to be to any narrative other than the ‘official’ one of the government/media/scientific/ church establishments.
I want to assure her, “You are not alone”
I will be drawing from Hilary and my journey. Yours will be different, but hopefully you will be able to relate to and be encouraged by some of our experiences along the way, right up until ‘today’.
So are you ready? Let’s set out on a ‘March’ through St. Patrick’s month. Patrick means, “hostage looser.” My hope is that the truth contained in this series will set you even more free!

‘Mumbo Jumbo’ and Mr Magoo
In doing ‘due diligence’ concerning the so-called, ‘pandemic’, I realize I am at an advantage over many. Firstly, I have the tools from being trained as a medical doctor, albeit many years ago. Secondly I have lived on two continents/cultures, Northern Ireland and the USA. Thirdly I have something of a prophetic calling.
One friend recommended I check out someone who has become something of a ‘Covid celebrity’ judging by the number of ‘views’ on Youtube. So I have been looking in on Dr John Campbell.
His down home style is initially quite appealing. This seems like the sort of guy you could trust especially since he portends to be simply presenting the facts as he painstakingly analyses the latest research papers so you can form your own opinions.
His commentary on The Great Barrington Declaration which I have referenced, left him literally scratching his head and saying, “I don’t quite know what to make of all this” Then on a more recent video where he was advocating for the vaccine he encouraged people to forget about all ‘the mumbo jumbo’ implying any questioning of the predominant narrative.
As I asked the Lord about this he reminded me about a cartoon character from my boyhood called Mr Magoo. Those of you from the UK old enough might remember the hilarious situations this character would get himself into because of his short sightedness! I still remember my Dad chuckling away at his antics!
I do not doubt Dr Campbell’s good intentions, but I fear like Mr Magoo he may have got a little ahead of himself in leveling that ‘mumbo jumbo’ criticism.
Last week I watched an extremely thoughtful and well researched three hour presentation by the amazingly gifted Dr. Zach Bush. He strikes me as a good man, an honest seeker after truth. He is also a product of the American culture. The first thing you encounter on his website (zachbushmd.com) is this statement……
“Curiosity is the most powerful force on this planet”
I would encourage you to watch or even ‘dip into’ this profound presentation.
I am unaware if either of these men are ‘bible believing Christians’ however if in biblical terms Dr Campbell could be described as a local ‘pastor’, Zach Bush would be the universal ‘prophet’! His curiosity and open-mindedness has resulted in his gaining remarkable insights into what has and is happening on our planet.
These scientific insights (which enabled him to predict the ‘illness’ and it’s point of origin a year in advance) take us beyond a myopia of barnyard chickens to the perspective of the eagle who surveys the bigger picture and a larger ‘spiritual’ purpose.
There is a need for both ‘callings’ to in humility acknowledge one another.
No matter what our calling I believe we owe it to ourselves and to our children and grandchildren to rise up from the barnyard and assimilate the eagle’s perspective. Yesterday I was struck with the verse in Exodus 23:2, “You shall not follow the masses……in doing evil.”
One reader after catching up on the last several blogs commented, “News on your blog is quite shocking” A few weeks ago another had commented, “…..being selective about what I read, I was lead to open your blog which confirmed what I had been sensing ….”
Responding to Jesus command to ‘Watch and pray” we must not be ostriches burying our heads in the sand out of fear of being ‘shocked’ at the truth about the ‘big bad world‘ out there (which we were honestly unaware of when we lived in Northern Ireland.)
Neither does it mean we should allow the flood of information now available through the internet to overwhelm us.
We must be lead by the Spirit in all things including what we choose to read as we seek out ‘the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth‘ from whatever quarter, about the evil in ‘the world’
…….. but beyond that, about the goodness of our God, and his sovereign plan to have the truth as made known through Jesus Christ, set the whole of creation free!

When we were starting our family, we found James Dobson’s books and his “Focus on the Family” was a great resource.
A few days ago Focus on the Family had it’s Twitter account locked…… for suggesting boys and girls are different. Imagine that!
Among other things, Dobson advised us on how to, “Win the War on Whining”
(Personally, I enlisted the little parrot above to help. He emigrated with us to the USA and is now our grandkids friend, still singing (even with one eye!) the same song I taught him all those years ago, highlighting the scripture, “Do everything without complaining or arguing so that you will be blameless and pure, children of God in the midst of a a crooked and perverse generation among whom you SHINE as lights in the world.” (Phil.2:14,15))
……….so I won’t complain about these dark developments moving us toward a Totalitarian nightmare, nor argue with the Sovereign Lord about the perfect timing of his deliverance!
Last week my friend Collins sent me this beautiful painting of our Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles Deliverer!
……..rather we will embrace the truth, “He will keep you in PERFECT PEACE whose mind is stayed on you, because he TRUSTS in you.” (Is.26:3)
So as we repeatedly focus our minds and still our hearts, we simply take the next responsible step to SHINE
………. as we, ‘Love the next person’ our Father sets in front of us!
That is why as I said in the last blog we are excited to begin our new As Partners Together group this Sunday for young married or soon to be married couples, and to announce the upcoming FREEDOM! retreat to facilitate families who want to live, ‘Happily Ever After‘ …..the way God intends, and gives grace for us so to do.
At the FREEDOM! weekend, (April 23rd 24th) we will be taking our cue from the honest, rational, courageous and increasingly censored scientists I have frequently referenced, not from the diabolically false, fear and shame based, Mainstream propaganda.
We will therefore not be requiring masks. (Though people will be free to wear them if they so desire)
There will instead be plenty of healing hugs and smiles, songs and laughter, and probably a few tears, as we dismiss the legion of dark influences that have wormed their way into our lives, and as we are restored more fully to the glorious FREEDOM! wherewith Jesus Christ, the Deliverer has set us free!
Sound like heaven? Add in Lois’ cooking…….It will be!

The Blessed Hope of 222
A few weeks ago for three nights in a row I woke at 2.22.
I asked the Lord about the meaning of this and he reminded me of….
2 EMAILS I had just sent!
The first was a Kyle Family 2020 Update. I began it by saying, “Here are a few Kyle family highlights from 2020. As I wrote I realized the theme in the midst of the ‘dying’ has in fact been – NEW CREATION!”

The second email was to the little Coming King Fellowship that has been meeting in our home for several months on Sunday evenings. I was writing to let folk know we had been lead to bring a season of ‘open meetings’ to a close. The scripture I quoted was, “Unless a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die it remains alone……” I then wrote, “We believe it’s time for the meetings as they have been to ‘die’ in order that something new can be born.“
“Experiencing DEATH is a necessary prerequisite to experiencing RESURRECTION!
Subsequently we sensed 2 expressions of Resurrection Life springing up!
1. An APT group.
We recently met with a young couple who had asked us to conduct their wedding. It was clear to us, that they wanted much more than someone to perform a perfunctory ceremony. They had a passion to have their marriage and family be all God intended it should be!
I recalled when we first came to the US people would often ask, “So what is your ministry?” We hadn’t thought in such ‘functional’ terms in Ireland so I phoned a friend who had lived with us in their early years of marriage and asked him, “What would you say our ministry was? ” he answered, “You are your ministry! It’s who you and Hilary are in your marriage relationship together, and the life that flows through your family.”
In Ireland we pioneered an APT group, “As Partners Together (in the gospel)” (Phil 1.:5). Next Sunday a new APT group will be springing up into life with this pair and 5 other’ like minded’ couples, ‘hand picked’ by our Father who want to see God’s vision for their marriages blossom!
2. A FREEDOM! retreat.
A few blogs ago I gave the testimony of a lady who described herself as ‘a new person’ after we had prayed with her using the Unbound model which we teach at the FREEDOM! retreats.
A new team of ‘buds’ are sprouting as we prepare together as a prayer team for a FREEDOM! retreat this spring!

Yesterday morning it started to become clear!!
There at the bottom of the stairs there was the sight we had been anticipating for some weeks…….
Our beloved cat Izzy, lay dead.
Over 17 years our beloved Maine Coon had wound her way endearingly into the hearts of all the Kyle family and reassuringly around the legs of many who came to the house for help.

We realized now why Gilbert, who hadn’t been able to ‘get away’ somewhere for his first vacation in years, had ended up spending the last two weeks ‘at home’ On the last day of his vacation, spent bringing comfort to ailing Izzy, she bade him ‘Farewell’
Then last night at the FREEDOM! team gathering, we got an ’emergency’ call from Raine’s brother. There had been an accident! Raine, and daughter Mni’s beloved dog “Henri” had been hit by a snow plough, and fatally wounded!
As we with sadness processed this double death together we quickly saw our Dad’s hand in weaving the details of our lives together.
The time had come for both of our pets to leave us.
Even in the numbers there was ‘wink.’ from heaven. Henri had arrived 12/12 and now both had departed on 2/21/21…..Put together it was another palindrom!

It was as if the two walked off ‘paw in paw’ into the sunset together!
While tears were shed as we grieved together, we knew the hope, even for these critters, of the words from Corinthians concerning the resurrection that were being spoken out from Hilary’s Bible app when I went up to break the news to her.
“Death is swallowed up in Victory.” (1 Cor.15:54)
Izzy had been 17 years = Victory. Henri had been 8 years = Resurrection
The number 222 is the gematria for ‘Bless’ and for ‘Firstborn.’
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has BLESSED US IN CHRIST with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.”(Eph.1:2)

This week we got word from the USCIS that we had moved up the queue (I mean ‘line’….gosh we are still Brits at core!) to become US citizens.
I blogged last May about how this process began with our having to answer some questions that seemed ironic given what had begun to happen in the US because of Covid19. As I checked some of the civics questions we must now answer I again began to chuckle in the light of the recent election.
Q1. How old do the citizens have to be to vote for President?
Answer. Does it not now appear that there is no minimum age, in fact you can have your vote counted even if you are not a citizen or are long dead?
The latest Time magazine ran a brazen article that could have accurately been entitled, “Yes! Here’s Exactly How We Did Cheat!” The link below describes some of the other bizarre things that occurred at the election…..
Q2. What is the name of the President of the United States?
Answer. If “Impeachment” is reserved for ‘a sitting President’ are the events of the last few days a fulfillment of the South African prophet Kim Clement’s prophecy back in 2007, “I see Two Presidents”?
Q3. What is one right from the first Amendment?
Answer. They seem to all have disappeared like the videos I have posted over the years that have been taken down. There is no longer ‘freedom of speech’ if your speech does not conform to the single approved Mainstream narrative. (If this is the last blog you receive, you’ll know I’ve just been censored for even suggesting there may have been election irregularities or for writing Q before each of my questions! : – )
It could all get quite depressing!
So I wondered….. “Maybe we should be applying instead (quite legally) for our Irish passports?” (At one time we had actually wondered if the Lord wanted us move back to ‘The South’)

At our Men’s Group a few days ago (which we have always kept ‘real’ never ‘virtual’, ending with our ‘heart to heart’ hug) I employed the SASHET approach to get us going. ‘The emotions are the window to the soul’, so the question posed to each one was…
“How are you feeling?… Sad, Angry, Scared, Happy, Excited or Tender?”
When it came my turn, I realized my truthful answer was “All of the above”
Being honest in my ‘soul’ as I look out over the injustice, suffering and intimidation abroad in today’s world, how can we but feel anger, sadness and fear!
However when we ‘drop down’ from our soul to our spirit, and allow God’s promises to be the reality we choose to live from, then by FAITH, the same faith that Dave Cullen re-discovered, our emotions can be transformed into happy, excited and tender as we enjoy the Spirit’s fruit of joy, hope and peace.
FAITH comes from ‘hearing the word of God’ (Rm.10:17) and to keep our ‘tank full’ Hilary and I listen to several chapters of scripture first thing in the morning and always read a Psalm together. I have also been following the joy, hope and peace filled ‘in depth’ Isaiah study at Godskingdom.org
…and so we can join again wholeheartedly with our friend Barry Maguire as he taught us to sing….

So while many things still seem ‘Up in the Air‘ the message from the last blog holds true – by FAITH we know that ALL things are in ‘A Safe Pair of Hands”
