In the last post I mentioned the spiritual warfare we had been engaged in at The Big Green House.
Today I spoke with the owner of the Riverview theater where we have been lead to have the free screening of the documentary on 23rd.
I discovered his name was Loren. This means ‘laurel’
……as in the 2 laurel wreaths depicted on the movie poster, that we have been awarded by the Dublin and Mexico City film festivals.
The documentary portrays our local battle over how God’ views and values ‘family’. It ends in Victory – The VICTORY of the LORD🙂
Tomorrow, Saturday, 14th June, could be another historic day of battle!
On the one hand there will be the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the US military in Washington DC. On the other hand there will be nation wide protests against the current administration.
Interestingly these counter protests are happening under the banner of
NO KING
This reminds me of the scripture,
‘In those days there was NO KING in Israel, but ever man did what was right in his own eyes.“
……but also of the battle cry during the revolutionary war,
‘NO KING…… but KING JESUS!’
Sounds like it’s time for another showdown!
This battle ties in with a second 50th anniversary gift we received. Ben’s new album, Singing My Father’s Song.
Both the documentary and the album have been many years in the making and both were only completed in the last few months

This song we have sung all over the USA. As we were lead from State to State we would make a point of going to the State capital using this song to proclaim in that State..,
‘JESUS KING’
Psalm 2 describes God laughing at ‘the kings of the earth’ and declaring,
‘I have set MY KING (JESUS) on Zion my holy mountain .’
As we continue to agree on earth with God’s declaration from heaven we can affirm.again…..
“…..perhaps we have come to the kingdom for such a time as this.?”(Esther.4.14)
