The other morning it dawned on me (pun intended) that one of my greatest sources of joy is when I experience the SYNCHRONICITY and SYNERGY of heaven and earth.
Psalm 85:10-11 comes to mind…..
“Your mercy and your truth have married each other. Your righteousness and peace have kissed. Flowers of your faithfulness are blooming on the earth. Righteousness shines down from the sky.”
That day I had decided to purchase a bag of protein powder.
The brand was ASCENT.
Then we ended up on an audio video call staring at a blank screen on which there was a giant

Later that day I found myself listening to two excellent and complementary podcasts
both were about ASCENSION

That night,
Lying in bed on earth, and seated with Christ in heaven,
……..the dots were connected for me.
Then I remembered my CD Trilogy of song collections reflecting our journey
in the Spirit
through the Son
to the Father,
expressed in the progression of album titles from
The Voyage,
through The Trek
Finally to The ASCENT.
…………an ASCENT into UNITY
………….and I recalled how that night Hilary and I had remembered the Lord’s death, ‘until he comes’ with a glass of wine from a bottle that ‘just happened’ to be named…..
His blood atoned for our SIN
that we might joyfully live on earth
the ascended life of heaven,
in SYN -ERGY
with the three who ‘spin around in ecstatic joy’ over us.
‘He who sits in heaven laughs.’(Ps.2;4)
and invites us to
LOOK UP and LAUGH ALONG
