This morning, lingering in our hallway, I noticed the rainbows cast through the cut glass in our door window had fallen on the feet of our Saint Patrick statue.
Under his feet and staff, is a snake.
Next to the statue is a Celtic blessing inscribed in wood….
Deep peace of the running water to you
Deep peace of the flowing air to you
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you
Deep peace of the shining stars to you
Deep peace of the Son of peace to you
You’ll notice the rainbow cast there, had fallen on the repeated….
Deep peace
I immediately went to the scripture. Romans 16: 20 that puts these two elements together, graphically translated in the TPT….
‘And the God of peace will swiftly pound Satan to a pulp under your feet(heel). And the wonderful favor of our Lord Jesus will surround you.’
Last night before bed Hilary and I both noticed we had sore heels, Hilary’s right and my left. Then during the night Father gave me the title Kingdom Come Colors for this blog series.
The hallway incident this morning reflected in the photo was Father’s confirmation that we are to follow in Patrick’s footsteps.🙂
This brought to mind another Saint Patrick figure of ours commemorating another incident from a number of years ago….

This serene Pat, again with the snake underfoot, was a gift to us from a family at Buena Vista in Colorado.
On their way to the church where we were ministering, they were mercifully delivered from what could easily have been a fatal car crash. We realized that at that precise moment, we had been leading the congregation in our version of the protective ‘St. Patrick’s breastplate’!
When they arrived at the church I remember the children producing their play breastplate, helmet and sword!
Dad had it all in hand….or rather ‘under foot’🙂
As ‘the God of peace pounded Satan to a pulp then, so his promise holds true for this ‘new day’ of increasing power and authority, we are entering into.
Make sure your seat belts are securely fastened. We’re in for quite a ride😀
