When neighbor John called in the other day he told of how his Great Grandfather from Germany met his Great Grandmother from Sweden on the boat crossing the Atlantic. They got married at Ellis Island and then set off west in a covered wagon eventually homesteading in North Dakota. What a different world of risk taking, hardship and adventure!

The story reminded me of the cover of our Trek album above.

The Bright Hostage Trilogy was recorded after our much faster and more comfortable passage to the New World.

First came the Voyage. Like St. Brendan, 1500 years ago we trusted the wind and the waves of the Holy Spirit to bring us across the Atlantic to God’s apppointed destination.

The Trek then focused on the next season of our responding to invitations to travel the length and breadth of the USA to share the good news of Jesus the Son.

The third album focused on our making the final Ascent up the mountain of the Lord’s temple, to the Father.

These three albums not only reflected the persons of the Godhead, but our journeying personally and corporately through the 3 major feasts of Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles, and moving from the Outer Court to the Holy Place to the Holy of Holies.

Last week we picked up a new car! I found this a hard decision to make. My mentality has always been to ‘make do with what we have’ I am still learning that a ‘poverty gospel’ can be as skewed as a ‘prosperity’ gospel! Our 13 year old car still runs, but In the end, the purchase did ‘make sense’ to me, and Hilary and I came to peace “between the cherubim” that this was the time and this was the car we were being directed to buy.

The last time we spent money like this on a vehicle was when we first arrived in the States. At that time we were lead to buy a new vehicle. “Big Blue”, our Dodge Ram Van, carried the Von Trapp Kyles to the four corners of the nation, and every State but a few.

I woke the other night and as I waited, Father began fitting some pieces together………

It dawned on me the name of the car we were buying was a CROSS TREK.

Then I realized the date we would be picking up the car was 122221. Whether you start at the beginning and read forward or at the end and read backwards it takes you to Psalm 122 which I referenced in the recent blog “Crossing the Threshold”

“We are standing within your gates, O Jerusalem” (v.2)

21st December was a “Turning point’ – the winter solstice. The 22nd was the first day after crossing this threshold

Psalm 122 is one of the Psalms of Ascent which the children of Israel recited as they went up to Jerusalem 3 times each year to celebrate the feasts.

Jesus fulfilled the first two feasts of Passover and Pentecost at his first coming.

Over these past 2,000 years we have been making an Ascent, toward the fulfillment of the feast of Tabernacles at his coming again.

When I woke, the clock had said, 3.33. This multiplies to 27.

We had come to the US as 9, and since then God had added 18.….. 9+18 = 27.

I was born on 27th, we were married on the 27th, we moved to the US 27 years ago, and now live on 27th Avenue.

The number 27 represents “The Ministry of Salvation preached by the overcomers under the anointing of Tabernacles.”***

When I fell asleep again that night, I had a dream in which I was driving a new vehicle. A vehicle can represent a ministry. It took a new set of skills to drive this. I was moving very quickly, and as I came to a sharp bend met a blue bus with Crystal written on it’s side.(Representing the heavenly realm?) I felt very peaceful, steered around it, and continued without slowing down.

I believe God was speaking about an ‘UPGRADE’

We are transitioning from the ‘covered wagon’ style TREK……. to a ‘Subaru’ TREK.

Subaru is the Japanese word for Pleiades.

The Pleiades, is mentioned in Job 9: 9, and 38:31,32. They are the Seven Stars representing the Seven Churches of Revelation 1:20.

God named the stars revealing His plan of salvation.(Is.40:26, Ps.19:1) They establish His Virgin birth (Virgo), His dual nature as Son of God and Son of Man (Centaur), His death on the cross (Crux) as the Ram (Aries) and the Goat (Capricorn), His victory over the serpent (Scorpio), the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as the result of His work (Aquarius), the Church and the Overcomers depicted by the sign of the two fish (Pisces), His second coming (Taurus) at the feast of Tabernacles, and finally His rule as the Lion (Leo) of the tribe of Judah.

The Pleiades is in the constellation of Taurus. The brightest star is Alcyone. It’s Hebrew name is Succoth, Booths, Tabernacles. The focus of the Seven Churches in Revelation is the feast of Tabernacles and the emergence of the Overcomers out of the Seven Churches.

I believe this TREK ‘UPGRADE’

…….is where under the anointing of Tabernacles the Ministry of Salvation will be carried by the Overcomers

This year we saw milestones for two of our Firstborn.

Robin our Firstborn son married Cori on a beautiful fall day in October. We were so grateful that all the family were able to make the joyous event.

On December 24th, 2003 our Firstborn grandchild, Ben and Kim’s daughter Ana-Marie was born. She turned 18 years yesterday! We were delighted to hear her do the final reading from John’s gospel, at RiverTree school’s Festival of Lessons and Carols. A ‘Nana’ recording….Fill in the first line and enjoy the good news!……..

December 25 of 2 B.C. was when the Magi arrived in Bethlehem, bearing gifts for the King. Jesus was already three months old at the time, having been born at the feast of Trumpets, the evening of September 28/29.

The Passion translation renders Psalm 8:2,

“You have built a stronghold by the songs of children. Strength rises up with the chorus of infants. This kind of praise has power to shut Satan’s mouth. Childlike worship will silence the madness of those who oppose you.”

The last two blogs have highlighted this ‘madness’ and our need to ask Our Father. “…..and deliver us from evil”

The heroic, Dr Joseph Mercola for years has talked about the benefit of vitamin D. Adequate levels of this important nutrient are likely the single most important factor in maintaining health in the face of the ‘covid’ crisis. Fraudulently labelled by the government and Mainstream media as part of a “Disinformation Dozen” this Joseph has been marginalized and maligned by the Mainstream fraternity of ‘healers’

A few days ago he published as always a well researched article entitled, “The Two Biggest Thugs in Modern Day History.” The article is of course unavailable now because of how truth continues to be suppressed and free speech censored. The two people he described, both featured in videos in my last two blogs.

I knew in advance about one of them, because I had an experience one night many months ago when the Lord woke me and said, “I am going to show you evil.” I waited, expecting to see maybe Hitler, Mao, Stalin or Gengis Khan. Instead, it was the so-called ‘healer’ Dr. Anthony Fauci who appeared in front to me.

I fear both Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates will ultimately be seen to be responsible for the deaths of millions of people.

As Dr. Peck points out in “People of the Lie” these ones who are being used as instruments of great evil should be the object of our pity rather than our anger, for ‘There but for the grace of God go I.”

Deliverance however, is at hand.

Evil is as old as the devil, God’s servant, who we read was already on the JOB, in the oldest book of the bible!

Another one of his early assignments was when he incited the fraternity of Israel’s jealous sons to throw their young brother, Joseph, into a pit, maybe to kill him, certainly to sell him into slavery.

And yet the end of that story which becomes the end of every story, where the devil has been given his head, is when Joseph’s brother’s, recognizing their error, fall down in terror before the one they have betrayed. Joseph responds by saying to his brothers,

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, THE SAVING OF MANY LIVES.” (Gen.50:20)

The Satanic depopulation agenda that has been advanced by the likes of Fauci and Gates is clearly of evil intent. Jesus contrasted the devil’s INTENT to his own when he said in John 10:10,

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

As the enemy’s evil plans to rob us of life becomes more and more exposed and obvious, so God’s greater plan that we might experience MORE ABUNDANT LIFE is also being revealed in our day!

Both the story of Joseph and the story of Job affirm to us that,

….after we have gone through some real pain,

we see how……

“God works ALL things together for GOOD.”

….both for us and for our family and friends.

I have been referencing personal prophecies we received in 1990 from the prophets Bob Jones and Paul Cain, that are being fulfilled NOW – in this 32nd year. Interestingly 32 represents God’s covenant promises!

At the time we received them we were leading a fellowship called, Community of the King in Belfast. In recent years we have worked under the title Coming King, derived from the song “Lord Jesus we enthrone You, we proclaim You are King…..Come Lord Jesus and take your place.”

At a large meeting in Maysfield Leisure Centre, never having met us and in the natural knowing nothing about us, Paul Cain signaled us out, named us and began to speak……

“I see you sitting in a place where there is a number 6 – and you’re looking in number 8 where the King’s presence is supposed to be dwelling…. and it’s not as exciting as it used to be. But the King is still there…. and He’s coming! …………..”

“Is this making sense to you? – Wave your hand if it is – Sure it is!”

It sure did make sense, because at the time we lived in a semi detached (duplex) – number 6, Kensington Drive. We had put a door on our landing through to the other part of the duplex which was number 8!….. Number 8 housed the office for Community of the King!

Paul went on to say,

‘You’re going to have such inner peace, and ‘glory’s’ and ‘hallelujah’s’ springing out of your life.

He finished with,

“I’m letting him see my face again and he’s going to see my glory….and you’re going to walk all the days of your life in the house of the King – in the fellowship of the King! Great joy is going to accompany this in the name of the Lord!”

I recently realized that this year I turned 68. 6 + 8 = 14. 14 is the number for DELIVERANCE

“So what is the significance of the photo?” ‘ You’re wondering.

You might recognize our neighbor John. He arrived up a few months ago in great pain and with very restricted movement in his left arm. He had dislocated his shoulder. He had delayed seeking medical attention because in his own words. “I ain’t going to that hospital cause they’re going to want to ‘jab’ me!'”

So I had him sit down and with the help of Duck Duck Go, refreshed my Med’ school memory, and then began pushing and shoving and twisting and turning in an attempt to reduce the dislocation. All however to no avail. As you can see, he’s a big man and it looked like he’d left it too long.

“Ah well John.” I said. “We’re just going to have to ask God to heal it!”

We prayed, and he left.

John came to our circle the other night, and I asked him, “John how is the shoulder?

“Look” He said, stretching his arm in the air. “No Pain!”

He had forgotten to mention it!

We had a good laugh together, and lots of ‘glorys’ and ‘hallelujah’s’

D(ELIVERANCE) DAY is for HERE and for NOW!

I just realized, his name is actually Russell Brand!………Obviously Brandon was a Freudian slip!

On the previous blog I gave the number of references in Robert F Kennedy’s book as 22,000. It should have read 2,200………Again I find my human ‘mistakes’ are often because Father wants to highlight something for me. Interestingly 22 is the number for ‘sons of light’

DR. ZELENKO EXPOSES THE SATANIC DEPOPULATION AGENDA!!!

A lot has changed over the past few years, not least who it is we ‘hang out’ with!

It’s as if our Father has taken a pack of playing cards, shuffled them and redealt us a hand. When we glance down, we are surprised at who is in that hand …and who isn’t!

More than just a rearrangement……. we are experiencing a whole ‘paradigm shift’!

Bob Jones alluded to this in the prophecy I posted in the last blog. He said,

“What He’s doing right now in the church is uniting whosoever will with one another. Because these weapons being released cannot be handled by one person. It will take teams to handle them and usually TEAMS consist of about twelve people. These teams will be united with one purpose in mind and when they go to war they will make decrees and declarations according to the heart of the Father. These decrees will be established according to the will of the Father.”

You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways. (Job 22:28).

When people ask me, “What church do you belong to?” I know they often expect a ‘cultural’ rather than biblical answer as we acknowledge membership in a denominational (including non-denominational denomination!) organization that we have joined, that probably has as it’s primary focus a meeting on a Sunday, in a building.

This is one aspect of the paradigm shift that God has been accelerating through events over the last few years, as we find ourselves going ‘Back to the Future” rediscovering a more New Testament model where ‘church’ is identified primarily as a ‘kingdom’ lifestyle out of a family/ home base, where God elects to ‘joint’ people as members of an ‘organic’ body which is a source of life and a setting for service

……… as Bob said, ‘teams of about twelve people’…..“united with one purpose”. That purpose is ultimately to bring to the world, “the light of God’s favor”

I was reflecting last night on how we now find ourselves in a number of such ‘teams”– diverse and different, and sometimes overlapping.

These team members seem more conscious than ever that they need to be, ‘lead together by the Holy Spirit’ (Matt. 18:20) to walk together in the light and in covenant relationship, in mutual availability and vulnerability.

As Dr Zelenko points out, we are every moment, individually and collectively being ‘vivified’, and albeit less dramatically than in his miraculous testimony, have been spared…..‘for such a time as this’

It is as we look down at the hand our Father has dealt us, we see the TEAM/S he has given us to work with in these pivotal days. In one of these groups the other night someone had a vision of ‘circles around camp fires’

On a broader front we are also finding in this new paradigm, our TRIBE.

In the above video Dr. Zalenko tells the story of his 4 year old daughter saying to him,

‘Daddy you are my brother”

“How is that ?” he asks her.

“Well if God is your Father and he is my Father that makes you my brother!”

Amused, he acknowledges his daughter has just shown him some truth about their relationship he hadn’t realized before!

Nowadays we find ourselves relating with people in a broader TRIBE, we would not have expected….people like this brilliant Orthodox Jewish truth teller from New York.

The spiritual battle we have been engaged in over the last few years defies ‘natural’ fault lines such as religion or politics, class, race or culture. This war is between good and evil, over what is true and what is false.

The good doctor speaks very plainly in this powerful message that the issue that will unite us in purpose is our commitment to ‘Rise Up’ and stand for ‘truth’ as we choose to fear no man but serve God alone.

This drives home the point that the sort of ‘faith’ Jesus prized was not primarily theological orthodoxy but a living trust in a sovereign God.

The man most honored by Jesus for his faith was a Roman centurion. He likely followed the religion of the day but when Jesus encountered him for the first time on the road his words of approval (without regard to what his ‘beliefs’ were) rang out, “I have not seen such faith in all Israel!”

Man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks on the heart where faith resides, and if we seek to look with his eyes he will help us discern those who are of this TRIBE of truth and faith. (Which I might add, is not the same as ‘the church crowd’!)

……for Jesus said, “Whoever is of the Truth hears my voice.” and Paul added, “Faith comes by hearing.”

We do find ourselves in these days of shaking apart, that we might be shaken together, with some unlikely folk…….. who are still thinking critically and searching for that truth.

As a friend said to me the other day,

“I never thought I’d been listening to Russel Brandon in bed at night!…….STRANGE BEDFELLOW!!”

This is not to say that I am suggesting you accept everything, everyone I have named or linked to on the blog says……not at all! The ‘discernment of spirits’ I spoke about last week is more important than ever in these days.

For example, the ‘packaging’ on this link around Dr Zelenko’s address I found unhelpful. Similarly the next video I’m sharing below about ‘mass formation’ I can track with until the last song! I believe it is a very different song that will set us all free – more akin to the song I’ve posted at the very end, from our grandchildren’s uplifting and heartwarming Festival of Lessons and Carols today!

Ultimately that song to liberate the whole of creation will be the ‘new song’ of Revelation 14:13….. which I believe we are beginning to learn to sing!

The Coming Promise

The word “Apocalypse” while having negative connotations in most peoples minds simply means, “uncovering” as God pulls the curtain back to reveal things previously hidden. Certainly in these days we are awakening to the depth of evil that has been and is now present in our world. This is the focus of the first link in this blog……

Interview 1675 – The REAL Anthony Fauci with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Although Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of Children’s Health Defense does not speak with a “Thus saith the Lord”, he is like the Old Testament prophets in the way he is being used to expose the corruption of ‘the establishment’ in this nation and the wider world. This interview is a excellent summary of his throughly researched ‘best seller’ with it’s 22,000 references, in which he alerts us to the fact that we are indeed in the midst of the battle of “Armageddon”. Concurrently God is ‘uncovering’ His magnificent and good plan for these ‘last days’.

Last week I talked about ‘Bob’ the New Covenant prophet – Bob Jones that is, and mentioned his words to Hilary, over 31 years ago in 1990.

Before Bob died he prophesied of what is now taking place in regard to the ‘plandemic’. He saw the sickness that was coming on the world, but his prophecy contained great encouragement and direction concerning the power of the blood of Jesus. Interestingly it has now been shown that ‘Covid’ and ‘the shots’ create disease not primarily of the respiratory system but of the cardiovascular system. As we reviewed Bob’s prophecy from 1990 we also reviewed prophecies we received personally at the same time from Paul Cain, the other main prophet being used by God in those days. He on two occasions at large gatherings in Belfast and London signaled us out for words from the Lord and we realized that in the context of these words he also spoke 31 years ago of the present ‘health’ crisis and of God’s solution. Paul said,

“Twenty years ago the Lord spoke to me audibly and said, In the last days the church there will be a release of viruses and these will be cancer viruses – they will be communicable forms of cancer and only the church will have the solution. The medical profession and the medical community will be bankrupted for the second or third strain of aids is issuing in, and God says the church for that time is going to be a victorious church – it’s going to be victorious in power beyond equal in power and she’ll have some unity and she’ll have some purity and she’ll have some intimacy and she’ll say ‘NO’ to the devil no to adultery – I will not leave a testimony with fallen men that I could not change them – that I could not bring them all the way into the land.”

Just as Bob’s prophecy about ‘the blood’ makes ‘more sense‘ with unfolding scientific discovery, so Paul’s prophecy about Aids and communicable forms of cancer now makes ‘more sense’ in the light of the revelations given over the last few years by Robert F. Interestingly our prompting to recall the prophet Bob Jones words to us was as a result of a gathering in another Wisconsin city – Superior, a few weeks ago.

Bob Jones last prophecy before his going home on February 14th 2014 was about ‘the apple blossom’. The apple represents the fruit of PEACE. You can read this hope filled word here…….

I rarely eat apples, but that day in Superior had taken in my lunch box half a “Honeycrisp” apple. Again I usually would have cut the apple lengthwise, but that day had cut it crosswise.

As Ron spoke about the Bob Jone’s Apple prophecy he asked “Do you know what pattern is seen when you cut an apple crosswise?”

I looked down. A pentagon!

“Do you know it’s significance ?” Ron asked.

“That is the shape of the entrance into the Holy of Holies.”

(Ron subsequently went on to ‘uncover’ other hidden geometrical truths such as how at the cross Jesus ‘squared the circle’!)

The Passover age, gave way to the Pentecostal age two thousand years ago when prophetically speaking we passed from the Outer Court into the Holy Place. We now are crossing over another threshold, through a five sided door (pentagon) from the Holy Place of the Pentecostal age into the Holy of Holies.

……. as we enter into the Tabernacles age.

It is with this hope and under this anointing that I believe we can anticipate the ongoing fulfillment of Bob’s and Paul’s prophecies of healing, victory and salvation!

Last night I had a dream in which I was trying on a pair of dapper brown shoes. Brown speaks of servanthood.

“Having your feet shod with the equipment of the gospel of PEACE.” (Eph.6: 12)

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who brings good news…proclaiming PEACE” ( Is.52:7)

“Therefore since we have been justified through faith, we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Rm.5.1)

A bog is God’s design in nature to cleanse the water.  It is a place where the water flow slows down so that certain types of plants can remove contaminates.  He leads me beside still waters.  There is a difference between still water in a bog or other wetland and stagnant water. This morning I received this email from our dear friends in Great Barrington who have stood faithfully over many years as ‘Gatekeepers’ for ‘New England’ where The Flame of the gospel first came to this land.

One of the main ‘streams’ of our church prayer meeting last night was the cleansing of the Housatonic river, which flows through the center of Great Barrington, and upon which the native Christian Indians built their mission house and Farm, which, you remember, turns out to be right under our church building.

It is also on the national register of most polluted by lead battery ‘sewage’ from decades of GE factory runoff upstream.

Jonathan Edwards named it ‘The Puritan River’ because it was so pure.

The day it is cleansed, by whatever remediation, God or man, will be a Sign to me that The Move is nigh and working. I had a dream last week in which I was weeping for the Berkshire Land, not the people, church, etc… the Land!

God created the Berkshire land first and loves it. The land cries out and needs to receive and hear the Lord ‘speak a better word than Abel’s’ Heb 12:24**. This was new to me, that the Land is Living! The native Indians understood this, so I think I was in that ‘stream in the dream’.

It was about The Flame coming, first to New England, and the significance of Great Barrington.

I suggested The Great Barrington Declaration which was signed there in ‘the middle of the feast’ of Tabernacles last year, was a flame that was being lit that would give light to the rest of the world in this dark time.

It’s hard not to juxtapose the two incidents in the Wisconsin towns of Kenosha and Waukesha. I appreciate the Epoch Times attempt at honest journalism. Here is one of their reports on the man responsible for the Christmas parade massacre……

It is also hard, to then not juxtapose, the title to my recent blog post, “The Cost of Nobility” describing those who are seeking to spiral upwards, with a title “The Price of Ignobility” describing the suffering of those who get in the way of the ones who are spiraling downwards.

Noble means “High”. Ignoble means “Low”. It is our higher brain function that distinguishes us as human beings. The lower brain also called the reptilian brain is concern with basic appetites and instincts. It would seem that ‘the serpent’ in the garden was wanting to reduce us to his state, whereas Christ came to teach us what it was to be truly ‘human’ and to make a way so that we might become fully like him as, “son of God, and son of man”

…and the names keep speaking.

As I pondered the name of the Waukesha driver, “Brooks” I thought of the story of Gideon’s army in Judges 7, and how they were tested by the way in which they drank water from a ‘river’ called ‘trembling’ (‘Harod’)

Gideon began with 30,000 troops, but the Lord instructed him to reduce that number lest they boast that their own strength had saved them. Subsequently, 22,000 fearful soldiers, afraid of death, were dismissed.

The remainder were further whittled down to the necessary 300 by another test, as they took a drink of water.

The majority simply stuck their heads into the water, and took in, without discerning, everything that was in the water. Those who cupped their hands looked first to ensure they were not imbibing something harmful….

….like raw sewage!

Considering these ‘cuppers’ numbered 1 in 27 of the remaining soldiers, once again fear may have been an element in the test. This time the ‘fear of man’ rather than the ‘fear of death‘ became a filter, as the ‘odd man out’ did not bow to peer pressure but determined to cup his hands in order to drink wisely.

Englishman, Philip Johnston writing in the “Telegraph” a few days ago a piece entitled, “Masks aren’t a minor inconvenience. They’re dehumanizing and controlling” confessed,

“I have succumbed. On the train to work yesterday I wore a mask for the first time since the prematurely designated “Freedom Day” back in July. Since then, we had been advised to continue covering our faces on public transport; but since it was no longer mandated by law I declined to do so, along with many others.

“By last week, roughly half the passengers with whom I commuted were maskless.

Yesterday, I would judge that about 98 per cent of them wore coverings. A few refuseniks, selfishly reckless or courageous, depending on your point of view, remained bare faced.”

In Gideon’s army it was 99% who ended up disqualifying themselves because of a lack of courage or a lack of discernment.

The 1% went on to win a battle….. on behalf of all the people.

I believe in the future many of that minority group who have been lambasted as ‘cranks’, ‘weirdos’ and ‘conspiracy theorists’ will in the end be hailed as heros of humanity.

I have on a few occasions deliberately written Main Sewer Media. The Mainstream is a sewer containing all sorts of defiling material that the undiscerning, naively take in.

The TPT renders Proverbs 25:26, “When a lover of God gives in and compromises with wickedness, it can be compared to CONTAMINATNG A STREAM WITH SEWAGE or polluting a fountain.”

The result of that stream contaminated with sewage, vividly pictured in verse 28, is eerily reminiscent of the scene of the devastated Christmas parade in Waukesha, “If you live without restraint and are unable to control your temper, you’re as helpless as a city with broken down defenses, open to attack.”

I wonder how much Main Sewer ‘brainwashing‘, had a part to play in brutalizing the ‘city’ called Darrell Brooks who in turn devastated the lives of dozens of families?

Proverbs 16:4 says, “The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil” and in Is. 45:5, God says, ‘I create evil’

But why would God create such a thing?

Could one reason be that we might learn to juxtapose, EVIL and GOOD, that we might become ‘mature’ as those “who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish GOOD from EVIL.” (Heb. 5:14)?

The reporting of these two incidents by the Main Sewer – when compared against the facts of both cases (which I will leave you to discover outside of the Main Sewer) illustrates vividly that we live in a day

“When wrong is called right and right is called wrong.”***

…….When a victim is called the villain and the villain is called a victim.

This is to be expected from the “prince of the power of the air” (WAVES) who is ‘the father of lies’

I have found, often through people I know and trust, more reliable sources of truth. Occasionally I do dip back into the Main Sewer to see if anything has changed, so the other night I clicked on BBC. As I read the ‘swan song’ of their departing US correspondent, there was no surprise as I sniffed out a few pieces of B.S. about our country of adoption, before pulling my head out of the BBC river!

The bad taste this left in my mouth stood in contrast to the pleasure from 55 years ago, of listening each Sunday morning to the familiar voice of Alastair Cooke reading his informative and amusing ‘Letter from America’,

I wondered. “Is it me or the Beeb that has changed?”

Likely both.

The other night we had occasion to get out and read aloud some prophetic words we had received from the prophet, Bob Jones over thirty years ago.

He had said to Hilary,

“You’ve got a gift like I’ve got! You can smell the working of the devil. You can smell him. You got a nose that can smell him right out. Man you got a high level of discernment in you. It flows beautifully through you…….”

A young man who had joined us for dinner started to laugh heartily. He had lived with for a time a number of years ago.

“Bob was so right!” The young man chuckled. “When I lived here I couldn’t get away with anything. Hilary, you are one powerful B.S. detector!”

Today more than ever, this is the gift of the Spirit we should all ‘covet’

There is however another river that we can juxtapose with this polluted ‘Stream’ and choose to drink from. The TPT translates it in Psalm 1 as, “the brooks of bliss”

I was given a song about it a number of years ago called, “There is a River”.

It is more relevant now than ever. I would invite you to sing/say it with me as an encouraging affirmation of God’s purposes and a prayer toward that end, that we now with the eye of faith see being wonderfully outworked in these days!

Interestingly when I did a Duck Duck Go search to find the above picture to illustrate this blog it turned up a photo from the city of Two Rivers which we drove through a few years ago…..guess where?
